Required Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technologies, or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network and security management (preferably with Managed Services experience)
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Sophos XG, and PfSense firewalls
• Experience in firewall management, Load Balancer, and WAF solutions
• Practical knowledge of SSL offloading, reverse proxy, Layer 7 traffic management, and IPS/IDS systems
• Expertise in network security, VPN, NAT, UTM, SSL VPN, and IPSEC VPN technologies
• Experience with policy-based routing, redundancy, and VPN gateway management on both open-source and commercial firewall platforms
• Proficiency in installation and configuration of active devices such as Cisco, Switch, Router, Checkpoint, Fortigate, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Team player with solution-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
• Certifications such as Checkpoint, Palo Alto (PCNSE), Fortinet (NSE), and Sophos Certified Engineer/Architect are a plus

What Awaits You in This Role?

• Managing Load Balancer, WAF, and security policies on Fortinet
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Sophos, and PfSense firewalls
• Implementing web application security, IPS/IDS, and DDoS protection mechanisms
• Configuring and maintaining VPN tunnels (IPSec, SSL-VPN), high availability, and NAT rules in multi-vendor environments
• Analyzing network traffic, optimizing performance, and enforcing security policies
• Providing technical support for branch and end-user inquiries
• Installing and managing SD-WAN solutions
• Performing daily system checks, log analysis, and incident management
• Reviewing security policies and recommending improvements for emerging threats
• Preparing technical documentation and providing training to team members when needed
