The Senior Manager - Quality Assurance & Technical will lead all QA and technical activities for the Turkey and North Africa region.

This position plays a key role in ensuring product accuracy, supplier compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the production lifecycle - from development to shipment.

Our client is a global sourcing and product development company partnering with leading international fashion and lifestyle brands.

Description

• Lead and manage all quality and technical operations across partner factories.
• Ensure first-pass sample approvals and maintain ≥95% accuracy in all product development stages (Proto, Fitt, PP, TOP).
• Supervise inline and final inspections, maintaining ≥98% pass rates and minimizing rework.
• Oversee buyer audits and third-party AQL inspections; ensure timely communication and resolution.
• Drive closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) within 15 days of any audit findings.
• Manage customer claims, implement preventive measures, and ensure zero seasonal quality claims.
• Ensure compliance with buyer standards and social responsibility codes (BSCI, SEDEX, ICS, etc.) with ≥95% pass rate.
• Conduct regular vendor visits and internal audits to strengthen factory QA capabilities.
• Lead, coach, and develop a QA team of 4-6 members; oversee hiring and continuous training.
• Report QA performance and compliance metrics to the global QA leadership team.

Profile

• University degree, preferably in Textile Engineering or related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in apparel or textile quality management
• In-depth technical knowledge of fabrics, construction, trims, washing, and garment processes
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a problem-solving mindset
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Strong leadership, people development, and stakeholder management abilities
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and vendor performance
